It has been said that everything happens for a reason, and I believe that this is so true when it comes to how we met Gary & Catherine. They are so sweet, so in love with each other, and even more in love with God. I am pretty sure that Catherine and I were separated at birth with our mutual love for theater and being barefoot. And the way that Gray looks at her when she is speaking, well it would melt any girls heart. We had lunch with them at Panera (only my favotire lunch spot EVER!) and then went to Clinton, NY. This adorable little town is where Gary & Catherine shared their first kiss so it was pretty special to them. After a clothing change, we went up to Hamilton College and wandered around in the woods for a bit. While there, we learned that Gary & Catherine are both adrenaline junkies and they love camping and white water rafting. I got to tell them the story about our white water rafting trip where I fell out of the boat and throught I was going to die (I'm not dramatic at.all.) All in all, it was a great day and we felt like we made two new friends. We cannot wait for their December Wedding - it's going to include a horse and carriage so you know that I am excited!

They are always laughing and both have fantastic smiles:)

One of my favorites below...yeow!

If you don't feel the cuteness oozing from this photo, just stare at it a little bit longer!

I believe the secret to a happy marriage is being able to laugh together...I think these two are on the right track.

People say that love can overcome all things and no two people are a better example of that than Jan and Andrea. Their love spans an ocean, a time difference, and many other obstacles. You see, Jan is from Germany and Andrea grew up here in Western New York. Despite the distance, these two have created a love story that they will someday tell their grandchildren, a story that can inspire us all to over come all obstacles for Love.

While in Germany, visiting over the Holidays, Jan and Andrea watched fireworks in the snow as they rang in the New Year. As she watched the fireworks going off all around them, she turned around to see the candles in a shape of a heart with their initials in the middle and a ring in Jan's hand. As she said yes, the fireworks continued but it seemed they were now celebrating something else, the beginning of something amazing.

We met up with Jan, Andrea and her son Zach at Olcott Beach and enjoyed wandering around the town, getting some ice cream (I think that was Zach's favorite part!) and playing at the beach.

I love this one below...so intimate.

Oh my gosh...isn't Zach so adorable!

Another favorite. Andrea, you a just beautiful!

You might recognize these two. Karla and Dave were the first engaged couple in front of my camera when I started Il Cavallo last summer. Boy have things changed since then! My photography style had grown tremendously and these two are now just a month away from their wedding! While we aren't shooting the wedding because we will be having to much fun being guests, I offered to help them get a picture with their dog Raider for a signature board. I have to say, I love this dog! In fact, I think we will be babysitting him while they are on their honeymoon...he's just an awesome animal - almost as awesome as his owners! Enjoy some of the shots we got yesterday in the gorgeous evening light.

I love this series of pictures from when I told Dave and Karla to just love on Raider a bit...he totally got in on the action!

We had to have them sport some Sabres gear for the first play off game. Go Sabres!!!

I swear, I cannot help but smile around these two. They are so fun and so in love!
