Linda has been leasing Rocky for a while and boy, does she love this horse. She woke up very early for her 6:30 am shoot with us and it was totally worth it. Check out these awesome images!

Joanne & Rocky were my first set of trail buddies when we bought Vinnie 3 years ago (I can't believe it's been 3 years!) These two go every where together and Rocky is probably the funniest horse I have ever met. He is super mischevious and likes to pick things up with his teeth and drop them on the ground (trying to brush him is a chore...and funny to watch if you're not the one doing it!). Jo is just as smart as she is gorgeous and they make a great team.

Jen and Tilly are a great pair, from their matching chestnut hair to the way that you can see them communicate together - they were such a complete joy to shoot. Although Tilly seems grumpy a lot (we had to work hard to get those ears forward!) she is a very sweet mare and Jen seems to bring that side of her out when she's around. Enjoy the photos of these two sweet ladies.

Dee is one of the sweetest women I know...and her horse Katie is the perfect match for her. Although she can be cantankerous (I mean, come on, she is a mare:) she is also very affectionate and has the cutest pair of ears in the barn. I have fallen in love with some of these images below...Dee and Katie both look divine!

Christine and Jessica are sisters. Who have a horse named Toby. Who, we just found out, has the registered name of Warbonnet Moondancer *insert eyeroll here*. I think Toby fits him but better. But on a sidenote: who comes up with the names of these horses! My horse Savy, his registered name is Gentle Savage...because yes, everyone wants to ride a horse who's name includes the word Savage. Really?! I mean...come on! But anyway, back to these three. Toby is a gorgeous horse who has personality for miles and if you ever come to Prairie Star to visit, don't worry, he's not dead, he just sleeps all sprawled out like that. Seriously, I have never seen a horse sleep as much as Toby does. Again, I digress. On to the pictures:)

I am going to blasting the blog with our barn shoots from last weekend. I originally was going to do one big post but I think that all these ladies and thier horses each deserve thier own special post - so get ready for somed drool-worthy horse photos coming your way!

First up is Ashley with her beautiful grey Arab - Amira. Ashley and Amira are a new team together but it doesn't take long to see that they have very quickly formed a special bond. I think that Arabians are super photogenic horses so Amira was a blast to shoot and it helps that Ashley is pretty gorgeous herself!
