While the rest of the world swirls around them, Joe and Michelle have a quiet love that seems to stop time and drown out the chaos. Watching the way that they finish each others sentences and hearing the stories of how they have support each other for the last 14 years, you understand how their relationship just makes sense to everyone around them. Kyle and I were blessed and honored to be able to be apart of their special day that has been years in the making. With all of their family there, Joe & Michelle had a beautiful wedding at the Beaver Island Clubhouse that was full of laughter, fun and lots of dancing.

Michelle got ready at the the Grand Island Holiday Inn and girlfriend got the biggest suite I have ever seen! We could have done cartwheels in one of the rooms it was so big! Michelle's Maggie Sottero from Bridal Chateau, was simply stunning and the perfect choice for her.

Joe & Michelle were super creative when planning their wedding and chose to have the horticultural club from South Park High School do their flowers. They were really stunning!

Another one of my brides that brought the hair artist to her. Jackie was amazing!

It was wonderful to meet so many of Michelle's family before the wedding while they were getting ready. It really felt like a family affair and I loved the excitement in the room as Michelle got dressed.

Michelle, you seriously looked stunning on your wedding day!

Kyle met Joe and his brother Jim, at his parents house. And then it was off to Beaver Island for the First Look.

I loved every single moment of Joe & Michelle's First Look. It was beautiful!

And check out this awesome wedding party. They were giving it in every photo!

Despite the rain, the location was beautiful and the ceremony completely heartfelt.

The inside of the clubhouse is just as beautiful as the outside. And I have to give props to them for the fantastic food. Seriously, I have never eaten such good food at a wedding - it was delicious! The reception started out with some really sweet toasts from Michelle's sister and Joe's brother, that made everyone cry AND laugh.

Michelle and Joe's wedding cake from Sweet Beginnings was amazing in every detail and the grooms cake (made to look like a hostess cupcake!) was made by Michelle's mom...just for Joe in honor of his slight addiction:)

Michelle & Joe surprised everyone (even us) with a really kick ass choreographed first dance. They looked like pros!

It was so nice - Michelle danced with both her dad and her mom. Her and her mom are super close so it was a very sweet moment.

After dinner, things got a little crazy. The Hitmen kept the dance floor HOPPING - they were fantastic! Michelle's brother David was a hit with his version of "I'm too Sexy for my shirt". He did keep his shirt on but some money may have been thrown at him at some point!

Michelle & Joe, I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be apart of your day! It was great to meet all your family and friends who were so welcoming and fantastic. Kyle and I both wish you many blessings for your marriage and your continued life together.

Because they are awesome (no really, they are!) and because they love photography almost as much as I do, Jaime & Ian decided to do a Rock the Dress session. I love these types of sessions because we get to go and take some beautiful portraits in places that we might not have been able to on the wedding day! Ian & Jaime decided that the campus of the University of Rochester would be a perfect place, and wouldn't you know it - we got to start in the library! Only one of my favorite places ever! And dangit if they didn't steam the place up a bit with these romantic photos.

Seriously, this library was gorgeous! I could have spent all day there finding fun places for us to shoot! (It also helps that I was hanging out with some fun people as well)

I had never been to the U of R campus and I was impressed with how beautiful it was. It was kind of a photographer dream!

Lord knows I love anything ivy covered.

And anything old and brick. Seriously, guys you were looking amazing that day!

I have known Andrea for a couple years now and I was more than privileged to capture her wedding to Jan last weekend. It was wonderful to see them surrounded by people who love them and to meet Jan's father who came all the way from Germany for the event. You could tell that Andrea was so excited and in love, she just glowed on her wedding day, it was beautiful. They chose to have their wedding at The Buffalo Botanical Gardens on the opening day of the Mum show...what a gorgeous location for a wedding! Mary, the coordinator there, just went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect for Andrea and Jan and it was the perfect setting for this chapter in their love story!

Andrea's dress was so beautiful!

This wedding was such a labor of love for many of Andrea's friends, including Arthur, who made her delicious cupcakes.

Jan was looking pretty handsome along with his Best Man Dave.

The ceremony was a special celebration of the love that these two have. I talked about their love story before, but it still amazes me that they have kept such a strong bond across an ocean!

Andrea, you looked so stunning on your wedding day. I love that smile that only Jan can bring to your face.

As I mentioned before, Jan's father and step-mom came all the way from Germany. They are such fantastic people who support Jan and Andrea in such a loving way! Oh and did I mention that Zach was probably the cutest guy in a tux there!

One of the really cool things that I learned was that in Germany, they put the rings on the right hand instead of the left. So lucky Andrea had THREE rings, her american engagement and wedding band and her German wedding band on her right hand.

After the ceremony, Kyle and I surprised Jan & Andrea by taking them to the Buffalo Zoo for some more photos. Andrea LOVES giraffes so we took them to the giraffe house. I am pretty sure the one giraffe would have eaten the bouquet if he could get close enough.

Jan and Andrea, I wish you happiness beyond belief in your marriage and blessings for your life together always.

If two people could define the phrase "Giddy in love", Ashley and Joe would be it. They have the distinction of being the first couple that I ever did engagement photos with and I have had such a great time getting know them over this past year. Both laid back as can be, I knew that not only would this wedding be gorgeous (because look at the two of them...they are so beautiful together), but it would also be a lot of fun. This past Friday, Joe and Ashley were married at Lockport Canalside Banquet Center. I don't know if I can say enough good things about how fantastic this facility is and the boat ride that all the guests got to take is just the icing on the cake...the wedding cake (see what I did there!). Joe and Ashley, thank you for being so amazing and allowing Kyle and I to be apart of your day. Your family and friends totally rock and we feel as if we have some awesome new friends now! I hope you are having a ton of fun on your honeymoon and we wish you many, many years of love, laughter and giddyness!

Kyle got to spend some time with the guys as they were getting ready at Joe & Ashley's house. Get this, they live on Electric Avenue! Kyle got annoyed every time I told he was going to rock down to Electric Avenue (Let me just get that song stuck in your head right now - I know...I'm so an 80's child). Joe, you looked so good on your wedding day!

I spent some time with Ashley, her mom and bridesmaids at the hotel in Lockport. I near jumped up and down when Ashley brought out the birdcage veil she planned on wearing - adorable!

This necklace was Ashley's grandmothers that was given to her specifically for the wedding.

Ashley, you kill me with how stunning you are!

Ashley and Joe opted for a first look and it was hard not to smile when they saw eachother for the first time.

We headed off to Canalside where Joe and Ashley had their ceremony under a beautiful pergola just built there. Joe's face when he saw Ashley coming towards him was priceless.

The cocktail hour was the coolest thing ever. All of their guests got to go onto one of the Erie Canal tour boats for a tour of the Locks and some yummy appetizers.

Kyle drove to one of the bridges to get some shots of the boat from above. He's that little blue speck in the photo below:)

I was excited to get some more shots of Joe & Ashley together as we went through a couple of the locks.

After the boat ride, all the guests came back to Canalside for dinner and dancing. Ashley and Joe's cake was beautiful and the cake topper on top - it's a family heirloom that has been preserved and used by many generations of family members.

Mark and Kellie are about as cute as a couple can be and love, laughter and happiness was permiable throughout their wedding day. With all of thier friends and family watching, Mark and Kellie promised to love and support each other through all of life's celebrations and trials on Juy 2nd. The service was beautiful and emotional with many of thier wedding party involved in speaking and singing during the service. The reception was a fun celebration of the day with lots of music, dancing and delicious food. It's not hard to see why peope love these two and it's amazing to see thier families come together. Kellie and Mark, thank you for alowing us to be apart of your day. Kyle and I felt priviledged to witness such a special time in your life and all the amazing events of the day. We wish you the all the blessings in the world!

Kellie's bridemaids helped her make her beautiful bouquets.

I love everything about this image below - the curl in that piece of hair, the look on Kellie's face and the perfect way the light is hitting her!

Kellie, you are so gorgeous!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day.

I loved the look on Mark's face when he saw his beautiful bride coming towards him.

Mark and Kellie are both musicians with beautiful voices. So it only makes sense that they have lots of very talented musical friends (and family as you will see later).

Right after they walked out of the ceremony. This picture just makes my heart a-flutter.

You two are cuter than words can express!

Marie, Mark's sister, has a phenomenal voice and sang a song for the mother-son dance. It was so touching.

Kellie's dance with her dad was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Her dad knows how to boogie!

And did I mention that he is musical too?!

Grandma doing the macarana!

And then there is Mark's dad who plays the guitar. He wrote a great song for the couple that was touching and very funny. He has such a great sense of humor!

These next two pictures, I can't even explain without getting emotional. Kyle and I were outside checking out the fountains for some night photography when Mark's Aunt came out to tell us that Marie was dancing with her dad. Mark's dad is in a wheel chair and I expected to see him dancing while in the chair, but instead, Marie had him in her arms, slowly dancing on the dance floor. I immediatly started to cry and had to quickly wipe my tears to catch these pictures of Marie and her Mom with Mark's Dad. It was a beautiful moment that I will never forget.

And I leave with one the most epic reception dance pictures ever! ;-)
